1. Who We Are

MakeLeads.us ("MakeLeads," "we," "us") is a B2B lead-data platform that lets sales teams browse and purchase business contact records. This policy explains what information we collect from you as a user of the platform, how we use it, and the choices you have. Questions? Email support@makeleads.us.

2. Information We Collect

• Account information — your name, email address, company name, and a hashed password when you register.
• Billing information — payments are processed entirely by Stripe. We never receive or store your card number; we keep only transaction records (what was purchased, amount, date) and Stripe reference IDs.
• Usage information — actions you take in the platform, such as leads purchased, credits spent, lists created, and campaigns configured, so the product can function and show your history.
• Support messages — messages you send through the Help & Support form.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To operate your account: authentication, credit balances, purchase history, and delivering the leads you buy.
• To process payments and send billing records and invoices.
• To respond to support requests.
• To send transactional emails (verification codes, password resets, receipts) when email service is enabled.
• To protect the platform against fraud and abuse.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

4. The Business Lead Data We Sell

The lead records offered on the platform are business contact records (business names, business addresses, business phone numbers and emails) compiled from public government registries, licensed data sources, and other business databases. If you believe a record about you or your business is inaccurate or you want it removed from our catalog, email support@makeleads.us and we will review and process the request.

5. Sharing

We share information only with service providers needed to run the platform — payment processing (Stripe), hosting, and, when enabled, email/SMS delivery providers — and when required by law. Each provider receives only what it needs to perform its service.

6. Data Retention & Security

Account and transaction records are retained while your account is active and as required for tax and accounting purposes. Passwords are stored hashed; traffic is served over HTTPS. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures appropriate to the data we hold.

7. Your Choices & Rights

• You can update your name, company, and password in Settings at any time.
• You can request a copy of, or deletion of, your account data by emailing support@makeleads.us. Deletion requests are honored within 30 days, except records we must keep for legal or accounting reasons.
• Depending on where you live (e.g., California, EU/UK), you may have additional statutory rights — we honor verified requests under applicable law.

8. Cookies & Local Storage

The platform uses browser local storage to keep you signed in (your session token) and to remember interface preferences. We do not use third-party advertising cookies or trackers.

9. Children

MakeLeads is a business tool and is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from minors.

10. Your Responsibilities as a Buyer

When you purchase lead data, you are the data controller for how you use it. You agree to comply with all applicable outreach laws — including TCPA, CAN-SPAM, and state telemarketing rules — to honor opt-outs, and to check Do-Not-Call registries where required.

11. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the platform after changes means you accept the updated policy.
